Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Amir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Wrecks!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Wrecks blocks the low kick.
Amir misses with a low kick.
Amir swings for the body but Wrecks moves out of range.
Amir delivers a nice body kick.
Wrecks tries to clinch up.
Amir was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Amir scores with a decent looking hook.
Amir cracks a nice hook into Wrecks's ribs.
The fighters circling - Wrecks throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
As Wrecks looks to move away, Amir throws a big counter combo but Wrecks just gets out of the way.
Amir connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Will Wrecks has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amir lands a big right hand that sends Wrecks crashing to the mat! Amir stays standing though and waves Wrecks back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrecks tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Amir is able to avoid easily.
Amir wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Wrecks takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Ali Amir has been cut.
Amir lands with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Amir throws a body shot but no joy.
Amir dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wrecks. That did some damage!
Amir cracks Wrecks with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Amir has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wrecks to stand back up!
Wrecks is rocked!
Amir throws an uppercut from hell that sends Wrecks clean off his feet! He's out cold! Amir stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ali Amir!
An out of breath Ali Amir thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
