Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryer McGuire (ranked 434 p4p, 471 weight class) and Alborz Mumu (ranked 57 p4p, 62 weight class). McGuire kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Alborz Mumu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alborz Mumu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mumu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McGuire's head.
McGuire misses with a looping left.
McGuire looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mumu tries to counter with a clinch but McGuire shakes him off and moves away.
McGuire misses with a body shot
and Mumu counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mumu.
Mumu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mumu has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McGuire is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A bone on bone clash there as Mumu blocks the leg kick.
Mumu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mumu misses with a straight right.
Mumu walks into a left hand.
McGuire throws a lazy right hand but Mumu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mumu steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from McGuire.
McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mumu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mumu slips under a jab from McGuire.
McGuire forces Mumu back against the cage and clinches.
McGuire is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mumu's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
McGuire lands a right hand.
Mumu tries a body shot but McGuire blocks it.
McGuire misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mumu misses with a body punch.
Mumu takes a shot to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Mumu.
McGuire blocks a body shot from Mumu.
McGuire content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mumu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McGuire's elbow.
McGuire unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Mumu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mumu lands a nice shot to the body.
Mumu tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A short body shot lands from Mumu as the two fighters clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mumu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McGuire throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mumu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGuire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGuire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McGuire tries to work over Mumu's front leg with a kick but Mumu checks it.
Mumu throws a front kick aimed at McGuire's knee but McGuire avoids it well.
McGuire throws a body shot but no joy.
Mumu tries to counter with a clinch but McGuire shakes him off and moves away.
A left lands for Mumu.
McGuire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mumu manages to avoid it.
Mumu is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
McGuire misses with a few strikes there.
McGuire thuds his right hand into Mumu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mumu avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Mumu steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from McGuire.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mumu lands a big head kick that sends McGuire tumbling to the mat! Mumu takes a step backwards and waves McGuire back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McGuire is rocked!
It looks like Bryer McGuire has been cut.
Mumu walks into a stiff left hand from McGuire.
McGuire dips to his left and cracks Mumu with an uppercut!
Mumu scores with a push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuire tries to get into range but Mumu steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops McGuire! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Mumu scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alborz Mumu!
Our winner, Alborz Mumu, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
