Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bronco (ranked 1444 p4p, 1163 weight class) and Dave McDonald (ranked 193 p4p, 157 weight class). Bronco comes to the cage accompanied by The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite . The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonald's choice of entrance music: Raise Your Horns - Amon Amarth. Johnny Bronco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald lands with a straight right. Bronco didn't see that one coming.
McDonald lands a jab-cross combination.
Bronco pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bronco checks a low kick from McDonald.

McDonald looks to land a combination but Bronco avoids it well.
Bronco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDonald moves away.
McDonald cracks Bronco with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looked like Bronco wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bronco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McDonald is trying to keep Bronco in close.
