Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winter Panda (ranked 6000 p4p, 5781 weight class) and Tatjana Saphira (ranked 568 p4p, 556 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tatjana Saphira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saphira lands a nice looking body shot.
Panda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Saphira scores with a punch to the head.
Panda closes the distance and clinches up with Saphira, looking for a takedown. Panda pushes Saphira against the cage but Saphira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Panda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Saphira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Saphira fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Panda on the side of the head.
Panda gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Panda drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saphira wants to get back to his feet but Panda is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Panda keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Saphira's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Panda is working Saphira over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Panda lands a couple of elbows.
Saphira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Panda has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Panda gets to his feet and stands over Saphira, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Saphira felt that one! Panda unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Saphira from any more punishment!
