Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Osmany Pizziconi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Fochi!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizziconi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fochi swivels and escapes.
Fochi scores with a nice right hand.
Pizziconi shoots in for a double leg but Fochi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fochi cracks Pizziconi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pizziconi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fochi pinned against the cage. Fochi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Osmany Pizziconi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Pizziconi with that takedown attempt.
Pizziconi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fochi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pizziconi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pizziconi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pizziconi distracts Fochi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Fochi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pizziconi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pizziconi won't allow Fochi to sweep him here.
Pizziconi's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Fochi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pizziconi uses it to pass to side control.
Fochi dodges the ground and pound from Pizziconi.
Pizziconi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fochi has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pizziconi looks up at the clock and then as Fochi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pizziconi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fochi gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Pizziconi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pizziconi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fochi is rocked!
Pizziconi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Fochi bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Pizziconi and the fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Osmany Pizziconi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
