Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ike James (ranked 426 p4p, 893 weight class) and Thomas Quessy (ranked 53 p4p, 124 weight class). Quessy has chosen NTM - Ma Benz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Thomas Quessy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Quessy!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quessy gets caught flat footed, as James shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Quessy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as James controls the pace.
James forces his way into half guard.
James is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
James is trying to work for a kimura but Quessy is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quessy trying to control but James postures up.
James wants to pass the guard but Quessy is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quessy is just riding it out for now. James eventually gives up the hold.
James is looking for a kimura here.

James is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

James controls Quessy momentarily but Quessy frees himself.
James working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Quessy.
Quessy lands a couple of decent looking shots.
James is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Quessy frees his head nicely. Oh but James has switched to an armbar! Quessy is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
