Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ries (ranked 1233 p4p, 815 weight class) and Sergej Kersikov (ranked 172 p4p, 126 weight class). Kersikov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Re-Style - I'm Alive. Eric Ries has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Ries! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sergej Kersikov! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Kersikov tenderised Ries's leg. Ries is trying to keep his angry face on. Ries misses with a lunging right hand
and Kersikov counters with a nice uppercut. A chopping leg kick lands by Ries. Ries lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kersikov at a distance.
Ries connects with the punch. Ries keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kersikov. Ries swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kersikov counters with a body kick. Kersikov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A little jabbing left from Kersikov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ries takes a swing at Kersikov's ribcage but misses. Ries throws a poor cross that misses
and Ries takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ries misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kersikov misses with a lunging right hand
and Ries cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A jab from Kersikov misses. Ries lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kersikov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Kersikov lands a big right hand that sends Ries crashing to the mat! Kersikov stays standing though and waves Ries back to his feet!
Ries is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ries switches off momentarily and Kersikov cracks him with a monster right hand! Ries topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kersikov dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kersikov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergej Kersikov! Sergej Kersikov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
