Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bennett (ranked 2491 p4p, 3270 weight class) and Techno Viking (ranked 279 p4p, 353 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thomas Bennett has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thomas Bennett seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett misses with a takedown
and Viking counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bennett shoots in looking for a takedown. Viking tries to sprawl out of it but Bennett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Viking manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Viking tries to keep at a distance but Bennett has taken the fight into the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Viking stays in close to Bennett's body and controls the position.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Viking creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bennett has picked Viking up - he's going for a ride! Bennett dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Viking wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Viking fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bennett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Viking lands a brutal head kick. Bennett looks out on his feet and Viking throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Techno Viking thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
