Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Boy Walton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Scott!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walton circles away quickly and effectively.
Scott feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Waltons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like John Boy Walton has been cut.
Walton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Xander Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott looks to land a left hand but Walton moved out of range nicely.
Walton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Scott looks to throw the jab but Walton is out of range.
It looked like Walton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Scott misses with an uppercut. Walton saw that one coming.
As Scott backs away, Walton returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
The fighters circling - Walton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Scott throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walton lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Xander Scott has been cut.
Walton slips under a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big left from Scott misses.
Walton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Scott throws a combination. Walton tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Scott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nice defenses there by Walton.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott misses with an uppercut.
Walton tried to counter with a leg kick but Scott avoided it.
Scott throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walton slips a jab from Scott.
It looked like Walton was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Scott.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
Scott looks to throw the jab but Walton is out of range.
Scott misses with a few strikes there.
Scott throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Walton counters with a big right hand! Oh Scott is in trouble here! Walton follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Boy Walton!
An out of breath John Boy Walton thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Xander Scott stepped up to the mic, saying 'Scam. Can't be'.
