Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Simon (ranked 588 p4p, 969 weight class) and Vinnie Pellegrini (ranked 91 p4p, 142 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simon is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Pellegrini reverses the position - he's now on top in Simon's guard.

Simon has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pellegrini should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Simon has tightened it up now! Pellegrini should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
