Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royal Halsti (ranked 474 p4p, 333 weight class) and Ryszard Wojcik (ranked 80 p4p, 50 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royal Halsti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryszard Wojcik!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojcik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Halsti is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wojcik to keep the fight standing.
Halsti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Halsti takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Royal Halsti has been cut.
Wojcik throws a body punch but Halsti moves out of range.

We've been informed that Wojcik has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Halsti works the jab nicely.
Ryszard Wojcik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Wojcik backs away, Halsti returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Ryszard Wojcik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Halsti scores with a counter punch that sends Wojcik to the canvas! Halsti smells blood - he's punishing Wojcik with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wojcik has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
