Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Spencer (ranked 735 p4p, 1216 weight class) and Fiore Azul (ranked 102 p4p, 170 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Spencer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fiore Azul! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spencer takes a swing at Azul's ribcage but misses. Spencer thuds a left hand into Azul's body. Azul takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Azul misses with a right hand and Spencer counters with a nice body kick. Azul swings for the body but Spencer moves out of range.
It looked like Spencer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Azul. Spencer with a body punch. A glancing blow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azul moves into the clinch. Azul tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Spencer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Azul takes one to the chin there. Fiore Azul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Azul throws a leg kick and Spencer counters with a crisp right hand that drops Azul! Spencer lets Azul back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Fiore Azul has been cut. Azul swings widly with a right hand
and Spencer counters with a body kick that stops Azul in his tracks momentarily. Azul looks winded! Azul throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spencer counters with a crisp right hand that drops Azul! Spencer lets Azul back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Azul is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Azul looks to land a left hand but Spencer moved out of range nicely. Azul misses with a lunging right hand
and Spencer counters with a huge right that knocks Azul out cold! Spencer is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Spencer! James Spencer took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
