Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 38 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Serhey Rishkinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bobby Brawler! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rishkinov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brawler looks like he wants to counter punch here. Rishkinov tries to bum rush Brawler with a series of wild strikes but Brawler uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brawler! But no joy. Rishkinov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brawler looks like he wants to counter punch here. Rishkinov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

It looks like Serhey Rishkinov has been cut. Rishkinov shoots and misses and Brawler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Serhey Rishkinov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rishkinov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Brawler lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brawler sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rishkinov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brawler manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brawler working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rishkinov. Rishkinov looking to sit in guard and control but Brawler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rishkinov is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brawler has his hands clasped together but Rishkinov extends and breaks Brawler's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rishkinov.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Serhey Rishkinov! A relieved looking Serhey Rishkinov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
