Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ji Woo (ranked 27 p4p, 77 weight class) and Ademaro Dos Anjos (ranked 6 p4p, 3 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bong Ji Woo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ademaro Dos Anjos!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Anjos throws a push kick but Ji Woo slaps the foot to one side.
It looked like Ji Woo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The fighters circling - Ji Woo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dos Anjos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dos Anjos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ji Woo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dos Anjos has managed to get both his arms back between Ji Woo's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
