Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arman Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Tomomi Tsuruta has been cut.
Brown throws an off balance right hand
and Tsuruta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tsuruta.
Tsuruta content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Tsuruta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tsuruta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tsuruta loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Brown has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Tsuruta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tsuruta lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown is pulling down on Tsuruta's head to control his posture.

Tsuruta is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.
Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tsuruta controls the pace.
Tsuruta working some strikes from top position.
Tsuruta throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brown works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Brown working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tsuruta.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tsuruta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Brown is trying to control the position but Tsuruta postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tsuruta throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brown cracks Tsuruta with an open hand slap.
Brown tests Tsuruta's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Tsuruta as he connects with a hook.
Brown drops Tsuruta with a straight right hand, right on the button! Brown follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arman Brown!

After winning the bout, Arman Brown thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
