The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishoes cracks Barnell with a right hand to the side of the head.

Barnell closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mishoes's guard.
Mishoes is looking to stand back up but Barnell counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mishoes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mishoes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barnell can't fight it off and eventually Mishoes manages to take the fight to the floor. Barnell looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Barnell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mishoes defends it well.

Mishoes has a hand on Barnell's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Barnell takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

That's time! Mishoes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
