The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixteen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sixteen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rivers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sixteen.
Sixteen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A jab from Rivers misses.
Sixteen moves in looking to clinch but Rivers pushes him off.

Sixteen closes the distance and clinches.
Rivers is trying to break free.
Sixteen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rivers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Rivers breaks the clinch.
Rivers slips a straight right by Sixteen.
Sixteen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sixteen throws a series of punches but Rivers moves out of range.
Sixteen tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Rivers counter with a right hand.
Sixteen defending well as Rivers loads up on a big left hand.

Sixteen clinches up with Rivers and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sixteen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rivers's brow.
Sixteen misses with a knee strike.

Sixteen lands a knee to the body.
Sixteen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sixteen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sixteen keeps control of Rivers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rivers breaks the clinch.

Rivers gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sixteen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rivers blocks it with crossed arms.
Sixteen missing with knees to the body.
Sixteen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Sixteen tries to throw a body punch but Rivers avoids it by throwing Sixteen back against the cage.
Rivers lands a body shot in the clinch.
Sixteen looking to stall.
Sixteen throws a knee to the head but misses.

Rivers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sixteen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sixteen dives in for a single leg takedown but Rivers sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rivers keeps the fight on the outside.
Sixteen moves in looking to clinch but Rivers pushes him off.
Sixteen misses with a body punch
and Rivers counters with a straight right hand.

Sixteen is rocked!
Sixteen wants to clinch up but Rivers keeps it at a distance.
Sixteen is still on wobbly legs! Can Rivers finish him?
Rivers drops Sixteen with a huge uppercut! Sixteen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rivers is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
