Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawson Chandler (ranked 768 p4p, 875 weight class) and Peguero Jean Philippe (ranked 120 p4p, 137 weight class). Philippe has chosen Chant vaudou haitien as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lawson Chandler has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Chandler dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Philippe. That did some damage!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chandler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chandler crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Philippe - the referee stops the clock and Chandler gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Philippe. Chandler manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Philippe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Philippe thuds his right hand into Chandler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Philippe might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chandler has got the better of the exchanges.

Peguero Jean Philippe's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Are you kidding me?! Philippe ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Chandler clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
