Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barnes (ranked 2276 p4p, 2646 weight class) and Aron Egomi (ranked 80 p4p, 95 weight class). Egomi has chosen Hand of doom by Manowar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aron Egomi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Barnes tries to land a body kick
and Barnes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Egomi checks a leg kick nicely.
Egomi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barnes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Egomi scrambles back to his feet.
Barnes lands with an overhand left.
A head kick misses from Barnes.
Bob Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A clash of legs there as Egomi blocks the low kick.
Egomi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Egomi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Barnes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Egomi throws out a counter right but Barnes avoids it with no problem.

Barnes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Barnes scores with a nice head shot.

and Egomi counters with a body kick that stops Barnes in his tracks momentarily.

Egomi looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Barnes misses with a jab, cross combination.
It seemed like Egomi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice straight punches there by Barnes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barnes.
Egomi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barnes. Barnes obviously looking to wear him down.
Egomi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Egomi moves out of range of the body kick from Barnes.
Egomi unleashes a big counter combination but Barnes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Egomi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It looks like Bob Barnes has been cut.
Barnes lands with a kick to the temple. Egomi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Egomi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Barnes thinking.
Barnes throws a leg kick
and Egomi counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Barnes to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Egomi!
