PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rounin Hashima (ranked 1429 p4p, 4096 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 206 p4p, 463 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ono Kuronoa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Rounin Hashima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Kuronoa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hashima throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hashima lands with a straight right. Kuronoa didn't see that one coming.
Hashima has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hashima, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
