Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Reefer (ranked 1827 p4p, 1824 weight class) and Magomed Sitsongrit (ranked 248 p4p, 247 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Reefer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Magomed Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Reefer. Sitsongrit shoots in for a takedown but Reefer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sitsongrit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reefer. Sitsongrit tries a quick counter leg kick but Reefer is wise to it. Reefer throws a poor cross that misses
and Sitsongrit counters with a body kick that stops Reefer in his tracks momentarily. Reefer slips under a jab. Sitsongrit blocks a jab. Sitsongrit looks like he wants to counter punch here. Reefer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sitsongrit's sensitive parts. Reefer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sitsongrit appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Sitsongrit ducks under a wild hook from Reefer. Sitsongrit swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Reefer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sitsongrit has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reefer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sitsongrit is able to avoid easily. Reefer misses with a low kick.

Sitsongrit wants to counter the offense by Reefer and move into the clinch position. Reefer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sitsongrit manages to avoid it. Sitsongrit ducks under a wild hook from Reefer. It seemed like Sitsongrit was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sitsongrit moves out of range as Reefer strikes. Reefer looks to land a body kick but Sitsongrit moved away. Reefer throws a lazy body kick and Sitsongrit counters with a shoot takedown. Reefer fights it but they end up in guard. Sitsongrit is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit distracts Reefer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sitsongrit trying to control the position from guard on top but Reefer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Reefer misses with a low kick. Sitsongrit takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A looping hook to the body misses from Reefer. Sitsongrit does a little dance to reset his feet. Sitsongrit moves out of range of the body kick from Reefer.
Sitsongrit takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reefer drops Sitsongrit with a huge uppercut! Sitsongrit drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Reefer is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
