The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simone misses with an uppercut. Peterson saw that one coming.
Peterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Simone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Simone gets caught napping as Peterson dives in and scores a takedown. Simone manages to retain guard.
Simone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Peterson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Simone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peterson defends it easily.

Simone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peterson's guard.

Simone is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Peterson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Peterson's back!

Simone is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Peterson rolls with it to try and escape but Simone cranks on the arm and Peterson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
