Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Beukeboom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thom Tharrier!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Beukeboom's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

It seemed like Tharrier was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Beukeboom throws a lazy right hand but Tharrier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Beukeboom feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tharriers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tharrier looks for the body kick but Beukeboom saw that one coming.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bill Beukeboom will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tharrier drops Beukeboom with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Beukeboom looks back up at him and smiles so Tharrier waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
