Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Corona (ranked 2010 p4p, 3690 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 269 p4p, 426 weight class). Corona's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lil Baby, Lil Durk - How It Feels. Ono Kuronoa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 2, fighting out of London, Juan Corona!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuronoa moves away from the strike by Corona.
And Kuronoa responds with a good body kick, but Corona manages to step out the way in time.
A slapping leg kick lands for Corona.
Kuronoa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Corona has time to react.
Corona connects with a nice looking jab.
Corona slips under a jab from Kuronoa.
Corona misses with a straight left.
Some wild striking there from Kuronoa.
Corona lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Corona thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kuronoa if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Corona fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kuronoa just manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Corona cracks Kuronoa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Corona looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Kuronoa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Corona's elbow.
Kuronoa jumps guard and drags Corona to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Corona works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Corona is looking to advance position but Kuronoa won't allow it.
Corona wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuronoa keeps working.

Corona is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kuronoa reverses the position - he's now on top in Corona's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Corona is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Corona will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kuronoa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Corona counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Kuronoa out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Corona is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
