Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Gracie (ranked 734 p4p, 861 weight class) and Ham Burger (ranked 105 p4p, 122 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Limp Bizkit - Rollin' blaring out of the sound system. Bryan Gracie has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ham Burger! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie tries to clinch there but Burger circles away.
Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gracie stops Burger from getting back to his feet.
Gracie stalling. Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burger actively working from the bottom here. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burger keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Burger actively working from the bottom here. Gracie is taking a breather. Burger says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Burger looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Burger is looking to improve his position.

Gracie trying to control but Burger is working from the bottom. Gracie passes Burger's left leg - he's now in half guard. Burger is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Burger sees it coming and defends easily. Gracie tries to pass to full mount but Burger defends it. Burger is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Burger is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Burger sees it coming and defends easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Gracie dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Gracie dives in and grabs Burger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burger pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out. Bryan Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burger misses with an uppercut. Burger scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Bryan Gracie has been cut. Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Burger's half guard. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Burger is defending well.
Burger is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Burger is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.

Burger is trying to get back to full guard. Bryan Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burger keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burger tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gracie is working for a kimura here but Burger manages to reverse the position and he's now in Gracie's guard.
Burger wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burger defends it easily. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Burger defends well. Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burger controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Burger trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Burger is aware though and is defending well. Burger slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Burger has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Burger manages to pass to side control! Burger advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Burger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape. Gracie wants to hold on but Burger pushes him away. Gracie tries to control Burger's body but Burger pushes him off. Gracie squirms to his side and now Burger has his back! Burger has the hooks in. Gracie is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Burger passes his arm under Gracie's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Gracie taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ham Burger! After the fight, Ham Burger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
