Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reijo Halli (ranked 824 p4p, 715 weight class) and Gunnar Bloodaxe (ranked 119 p4p, 106 weight class). Halli comes to the cage accompanied by Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reijo Halli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Bloodaxe!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodaxe lands a glancing blow to the side of Halli's head.
A telegraphed right hand from Bloodaxe misses the target.
Halli takes a jab right on the kisser.
Halli looks to land a right hand but Bloodaxe moved out of range.

Bloodaxe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Halli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bloodaxe has managed to get both his arms back between Halli's legs - danger averted.

Halli has his foot on Bloodaxe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bloodaxe works his way back into a safe position though.

Gunnar Bloodaxe dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Bloodaxe ducks under a wild hook from Halli.
Halli goes for a double leg but Bloodaxe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bloodaxe continues to drive forward.
Bloodaxe wants to break the clinch but can't.
Halli goes for a takedown attempt but Bloodaxe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Halli avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bloodaxe leaves Halli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Halli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Reijo Halli overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Halli is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bloodaxe's shoulder. That is not cool.

Halli throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bloodaxe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bloodaxe! But no joy.
Bloodaxe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Halli.
Bloodaxe looks to land a right hand but Halli moved out of range.

Halli closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bloodaxe's guard.

Halli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bloodaxe looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bloodaxe looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bloodaxe!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
