Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes avoids the head kick by Girard.
A little jabbing left from Hughes on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Girard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hughes manages to avoid it.
Hughes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Girard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hughes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hughes catches Girard with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Girard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hughes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Girard off and has taken his back!
