And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Phol Boxaaja!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budluvski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boxaaja. Boxaaja circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Phol Boxaaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Budluvski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Budluvski wants it to stay on the feet.
Budluvski appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Boxaaja shoots in and drives through. Budluvski sprawls well.

Boxaaja tries to keep at a distance but Budluvski has taken the fight into the clinch.

Budluvski tries to kick Boxaaja off but Boxaaja keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boxaaja closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Budluvski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Boxaaja dives in for a single leg takedown but Budluvski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Boxaaja darts in looking for a takedown but Budluvski gets double underhooks and turns Boxaaja into the cage.
It looked like Budluvski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Darwin Budluvski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phol Boxaaja.
Boxaaja walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Boxaaja is rocked!
Darwin Budluvski is winning the standup battle so far.
Budluvski closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Boxaaja out cold! Boxaaja corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
