Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleks Nik!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nik throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Walker's guard.
Walker wants to stand up but Nik is controlling him.
Nik connects with a couple of short punches.
Nik controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Walker is looking to stand up but Nik isn't so interested in that idea.
Nik working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Walker's head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nik's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nik postures up and lands a big shot to Walker's brow.
Nik stands up over Walker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Walker keeping moving, preventing Nik from controlling successfully.
Walker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nik off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Walker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nik scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker misses with an uppercut
enabling Nik to counter with a crisp jab.
Walker is rocked!
Nik drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Walker right on the button. Walker goes down! Nik follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nik gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aleks Nik!
A relieved looking Aleks Nik thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
