Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Maluga (ranked 1 p4p, 45 weight class) and Clarence Hoost (ranked 1 p4p, 7 weight class). Maluga comes to the cage accompanied by JUNGLE. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clarence Hoost was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost throws a leg kick but Maluga sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Maluga scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hoost in his tracks.

It looks like Clarence Hoost has been cut.
Maluga misses with a hook to the body
and Hoost counters with a nice low kick that buckles Maluga's knee momentarily.
An inside leg kick from Hoost misses.
Maluga appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Hoost fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Maluga lands a really nice looking cross but Hoost seems unphased.

Maluga seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hoost lands a glancing blow to the side of Maluga's head.

It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut.
Maluga lands with a nice body punch.
Hoost throws a sloppy body shot
and Hoost takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That has opened up Clarence Hoost's cut even more.
Maluga uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoost.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Maluga connects with a body shot that sends Hoost's belly button to the back.
Hoost takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hoost lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hoost throws a sloppy head kick and Maluga moves out of range easily.

Hoost slips a jab and a cross from Maluga.
Hoost's corner calls for a 1-2. Hoost obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Maluga is looking to wear down Hoost with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Maluga cracks Hoost with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maluga has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hoost to stand back up!
