Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Greene (ranked 23 p4p, 57 weight class) and Antonio Tarver (ranked 3 p4p, 4 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Red Greene!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antonio Tarver!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarver tries to sprawl but Greene drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Greene drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tarver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Greene has Tarver in his guard.


Tarver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Greene has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tarver has managed to get both his arms back between Greene's legs - danger averted.

Antonio Tarver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
