Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Barbosa (ranked 561 p4p, 560 weight class) and Ed Green (ranked 30 p4p, 29 weight class). Lucas Barbosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barbosa's guard.

Green controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Barbosa has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Barbosa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Barbosa is staying active underneath Green, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've been hearing good reports from Barbosa's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
