Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Bond (ranked 638 p4p, 1565 weight class) and Elrey Dorado (ranked 87 p4p, 214 weight class). Dorado has chosen MY STORY as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Elrey Dorado was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunner Bond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elrey Dorado!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Bond.
Bond tests Dorado's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bond gets tackled into the cage by Dorado. Dorado maintains the clinch.
Bond tries to work over Dorado's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short body shot lands from Dorado as the two fighters clinch.

Dorado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gunner Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dorado crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bond - the referee stops the clock and Dorado gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bond. Dorado manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bond lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dorado has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dorado and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bond does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dorado was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
