The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popizicki throws a good cross that connects.
Popizicki tries to clinch up but Moreau circles away and keeps his distance.
Moreau drops down looking for a counter takedown but Popizicki sprawls and moves away.
Popizicki misses with a looping left.
Nice uppercut lands for Popizicki. That snapped Moreau's head back.
Moreau has been working on his balance at Combat Wombat Burrow, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Popizicki.
A looping hook to the body misses from Popizicki. Moreau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Moreau drops down looking for a counter takedown but Popizicki sprawls and moves away.
Popizicki shoots in looking for a takedown. Moreau tries to sprawl out of it but Popizicki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moreau manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
