Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Krahujec (ranked 1146 p4p, 748 weight class) and Cathal Doherty (ranked 172 p4p, 112 weight class). Doherty has chosen Jeremy- Pearl Jam as his entrance music. Cathal Doherty has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kamil Krahujec's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Krahujec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cathal Doherty! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krahujec darts in looking for a takedown but Doherty gets double underhooks and turns Krahujec into the cage. Krahujec misses with a hook from the clinch. Krahujec tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Doherty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Doherty darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Doherty scores with the left hand. Krahujec shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doherty throws out a loose jab but Krahujec uses good head movement to avoid it. Krahujec drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! But no, Doherty has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Krahujec but great work by Doherty. Krahujec is trying to get back to half guard. Krahujec is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Doherty off and has taken his back! Doherty wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doherty covering up well under a series of strikes from Krahujec. Doherty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krahujec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doherty trying to get back to his feet but Krahujec is in full control for now. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kamil Krahujec dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Doherty waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Krahujec. Krahujec shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Doherty counter with a right hand. Doherty throws a jab when Krahujec was well out of range. Doherty throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Krahujec shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doherty defends it nicely. Krahujec closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Krahujec has his takedown stuffed and Doherty counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamil Krahujec. That's one minute gone in the round. Doherty slaps away a takedown attempt from Krahujec, before circling back to the center of the mat. Doherty wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Doherty catches Krahujec with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kamil Krahujec is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doherty dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Doherty rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krahujec moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Doherty circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Krahujec to the canvas! Krahujec doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Doherty keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cathal Doherty! Cathal Doherty tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
