Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hoodoo Brown (ranked 1682 p4p, 1879 weight class) and Zombie Lee (ranked 102 p4p, 113 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoodoo Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zombie Lee!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.
Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee.
Lee misses the jab.
Lee misses with an uppercut.

We've been hearing reports that Brown has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A jab from Lee misses.
Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Brown closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lee quickly recovers to half guard.
Brown thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Lee regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brown.

Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.

Lee wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Brown.
Brown unloads with some shots from mount but Lee bucks and avoids them well.

Brown throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lee because Brown loaded up on that one.
Brown landing strikes from the mount and Lee is in trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brown lands a couple of good shots and Lee has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Brown working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Even with his hooks in, Brown manages to miss with strikes from the back.
You can see the frustration on Lee's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Brown is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lee has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brown has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lee taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brown doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hoodoo Brown!
