The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins tries to keep at a distance but Patryk has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jenkins lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Lukasz Patryk has been cut.
Patryk is trying to pull guard but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Patryk blocks an elbow strike from Jenkins.
Jenkins lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That has opened up Lukasz Patryk's cut even more.
Jenkins lands a knee to the head.

The cut above Lukasz Patryk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Patryk tries for a takedown but Jenkins manages to get underhooks.
Patryk misses with a short punch on the inside.

Patryk gets control of Jenkins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Patryk will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Patryk can do anything to dispel that myth.
Patryk controls Jenkins momentarily but Jenkins frees himself.
Jenkins sitting in guard here, content to control.
Jenkins wanted to stand there but Patryk had control of the position.
Patryk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jenkins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Patryk looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Patryk holds on and takes a little breather.
Jenkins stays in close to Patryk's body and controls the position.
Jenkins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jenkins passes Patryk's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Jenkins tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Patryk.
Jenkins wants to pass to mount but Patryk is defending the position.

Jenkins stands up out of the half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jenkins throws a front kick aimed at Patryk's knee but Patryk avoids it well.
Jenkins lands with a straight right. Patryk didn't see that one coming.
Jenkins throws a body punch but Patryk moves out of range.

Jenkins clinches.
Jenkins gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Patryk.
Tommy Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Patryk.
Patryk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jenkins smiles and moves away.
Patryk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A lazy body kick from Patryk
and Jenkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lukasz Patryk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Jenkins pushes Patryk up against the cage in a clinch.
Jenkins tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Patryk is trying to pull guard but Jenkins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lukasz Patryk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
