Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Minato Tokugawa (ranked 452 p4p, 642 weight class) and Cesare Tiramanti (ranked 63 p4p, 95 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Cesare Tiramanti!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokugawa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tiramanti manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tokugawa misses the jab.
Tiramanti looks to land a left hand but Tokugawa moved out of range nicely.
Tiramanti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tokugawa slips a straight right by Tiramanti.
Tokugawa jabbing away but nothing is landing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tokugawa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tiramanti on the side of the head.

Tiramanti has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tiramanti fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tokugawa.
Tiramanti swats away the attempt to clinch by Tokugawa.
Cesare Tiramanti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiramanti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tokugawa.
Tokugawa clinches up with Tiramanti and pushes him back against the cage.

Tokugawa's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

I was talking to Tokugawa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tiramanti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tokugawa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Tiramanti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tokugawa throws a shot from downtown. Tiramanti moves away and avoids it.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minato Tokugawa dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cesare Tiramanti's cut.

Tiramanti feints a jab promting Tokugawa to slip. Tiramanti then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tokugawa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Tokugawa looks to land a right hand but Tiramanti moved out of range.
Tiramanti rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tokugawa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tiramanti misses with a low kick as Tokugawa jumps back.
Tokugawa lands a big right hand that sends Tiramanti crashing to the mat! Tokugawa stays standing though and waves Tiramanti back to his feet!
Tiramanti is still on wobbly legs! Can Tokugawa finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tiramanti takes a swing at Tokugawa's ribcage but misses.
Tiramanti seems to have recovered his senses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tiramanti. That's going to slow Tokugawa down.
Tokugawa is looking to clinch.
Tiramanti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Tokugawa engages and cracks Tiramanti with a massive lead left hook - Tiramanti tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Tokugawa is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Minato Tokugawa!
After winning the bout, Minato Tokugawa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
