Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umaro Sunsmon (ranked 1835 p4p, 1690 weight class) and Alexandros Stamatis (ranked 209 p4p, 194 weight class). Stamatis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sabaton - Sparta. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Umaro Sunsmon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexandros Stamatis!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunsmon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Umaro Sunsmon has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Stamatis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sunsmon doesn't seem phased though.
Sunsmon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stamatis moves out of range of the strikes.
Stamatis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sunsmon cracks Stamatis with a good jab.
Stamatis catches Sunsmon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Stamatis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sunsmon.
Stamatis throws a jab when Sunsmon was well out of range.
Sunsmon slips a jab from Stamatis.
Sunsmon throws a hook but Stamatis blocks it.
Stamatis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sunsmon.
Stamatis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Umaro Sunsmon's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sunsmon cracks Stamatis with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sunsmon drops Stamatis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stamatis looks back up at him and smiles so Sunsmon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Stamatis is rocked!
Stamatis leaves his chin hanging out and Sunsmon seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Stamatis crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Umaro Sunsmon!
Our winner, Umaro Sunsmon, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
