The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makhachev sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lawrence cracks Makhachev with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lawrence throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Makhachev is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Lawrence fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Makhachev shoots for a double leg takedown but Lawrence sprawls well. He's pushed Makhachev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Makhachev is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lawrence's half guard.

Makhachev on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Oh Makhachev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makhachev gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Lawrence gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
