Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyreece Sterling (ranked 24995 p4p, 24544 weight class) and Chump Baylor (ranked 639 p4p, 612 weight class). Chump Baylor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyreece Sterling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chump Baylor!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sterling was covering up waiting for the punch and Baylor finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sterling fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baylor avoids it really well and circles away.
As Sterling backs off Baylor throws a huge counter combo but Sterling manages to avoid it all.
Sterling tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sterling somewhat.
Baylor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Sterling shoots in but no luck this time.

Baylor has Sterling pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Baylor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sterling tumbling to the mat - Baylor dives into Sterling's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sterling wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Baylor has the hooks in. Sterling is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Baylor is persistently looking for the submission but Sterling is defending it well.
Baylor has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sterling's body.

Chump Baylor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Sterling shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Baylor sprawls well. Baylor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sterling gets slowly back to his feet.

Baylor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A big strike lands for Baylor! That's really hurt Sterling and he's turned his back - Baylor keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Baylor jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
