Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugsley fails to land the takedown.
Pugsley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Pugsley moves into range and clinches up with Fisher.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fisher lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fisher creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fisher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Fisher makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
John Fisher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Fisher counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pugsley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fisher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pugsley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fisher sprawls well. Fisher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pugsley gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fisher rattles Pugsley with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Pugsley tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Fisher dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Pugsley stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Fisher!
John Fisher gave a mention to New Standard in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
