The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilmarinen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davito's waist but Davito gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ilmarinen off to one side.
Davito pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ilmarinen back to the cage. Davito follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Anton Ilmarinen has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Ilmarinen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Davito tries a head kick but it misses.
