The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulatov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Killov sprawls well initially but Ulatov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Killov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ulatov pulls his head out easily.
Killov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Killov looking for submissions off his back.
Killov felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Ulatov is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Killov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ulatov pulls his head out easily.
Ulatov is working for a submission of some sort.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Killov is refusing to be controlled, as Ulatov sits in half guard.

Ulatov wants to take a breather but Killov is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ulatov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Killov could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ulatov has cracked it and Killov is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ulatov!
