The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo tries to work over Knuckles's front leg with a kick but Knuckles checks it.
Danny Trejo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trejo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Knuckles avoids the body shot from Trejo.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Trejo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Knuckles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Knuckles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Knuckles goes for a double leg but Trejo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Trejo continues to drive forward.

Knuckles swings around for an armbar but Trejo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Knuckles's guard.

Knuckles bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Knuckles looking to control but instead Trejo has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Trejo tries to kick Knuckles off but Knuckles keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Knuckles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Knuckles perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Trejo is not content to let Knuckles control the position.

Knuckles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trejo but Trejo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Trejo lands a big head kick that sends Knuckles tumbling to the mat! Trejo takes a step backwards and waves Knuckles back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Super Knuckles has been cut.
Trejo looks to land a right hand but Knuckles moved out of range.
Oh Knuckles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trejo lands a leg kick that knocks Knuckles off balance momentarily.
Trejo catches Knuckles with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Knuckles forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

A relieved looking Danny Trejo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
