Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Shigeru Otori!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marko Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otori throws a hook but Kersikov avoids it easily.
Kersikov steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Otori connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kersikov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Otori looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Otori throws a low kick but Kersikov moves out of range easily.
Shigeru Otori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shigeru Otori.
Well Otori has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
