Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blade Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels connects with a body shot.
Blake tries to clinch up but Daniels circles away and keeps his distance.
Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Daniels feints and then cracks Blake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blake down.
Blake takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Blade Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blake tries to clinch up.
Daniels tries to counter by closing the distance.
A head kick misses from Daniels.
A looping hook to the body misses from Daniels. Blake does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blake fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daniels moves into range and clinches up with Blake.
Blake drags the fight down to the ground.
Blake keeping moving, preventing Daniels from controlling successfully.
Blake avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Blake looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daniels in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Blake definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Daniels must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Blake looking for a guillotine here but Daniels defends easily.
Blake is looking for a triangle but Daniels pushes his legs off easily.
Blake is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Daniels is sitting in close to Blake's body. Blake has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Daniels is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Daniels is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Blake.
