Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Luc Picard (ranked 4105 p4p, 3646 weight class) and Mabahong Tae (ranked 449 p4p, 424 weight class). Picard comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - How I Could Just Kill A Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Luc Picard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mabahong Tae!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tae has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tae takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Picard connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Picard lunges at Tae with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tae's hand.
Picard scores with a hook to the body. Tae takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tae closes the distance but Picard moves to the side
and Picard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Picard scores with a jab. Tae acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tae needs to keep his hands up - Picard had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tae instigates a clinch.
Tae tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Picard throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Picard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tae tries to clinch but Picard moves out of range.

Picard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Picard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

It looked like Picard wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tae lands with a nice body punch.

Picard keeps the fight on the outside.
Picard thuds a left hand into Tae's body.
Picard drops Tae with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tae looks back up at him and smiles so Picard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tae is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tae missing with a left hand there. Picard was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Picard was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tae.
Picard lands a big right hand that sends Tae crashing to the mat! Picard stays standing though and waves Tae back to his feet!
Tae is still on wobbly legs! Can Picard finish him?

and Picard counters with a big left hand that crumples Tae! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
