Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sparring John (ranked 3761 p4p, 1439 weight class) and Paul Hunter (ranked 495 p4p, 209 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sparring John has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sparring John seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a jab when John was well out of range.
A slow jab from John misses its intended target.
John throws a sloppy body shot
letting Hunter counter with a right hand.
Hunter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from John.
John tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from John.

John throws a body shot but no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hunter will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning John up against the cage.

John wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

John wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hunter has him pressed against the cage.

Hunter's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hunter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunter lands a big right hand that drops John! The killer instinct kicks in and Hunter finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Hunter!
