Simunic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Isopaa Mfer has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer lands a nice shot that snaps Simunic's head back.
Simunic throws an off balance right hand
and Mfer counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Simunic swats away the attempt to clinch by Mfer.
Simunic appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Mfer lands the left hand.
Simunic misses with a jab to the body
and Mfer counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simunic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mfer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mfer lands with a straight right. Simunic didn't see that one coming.
We've been hearing reports that Mfer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mfer cracks Simunic with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Simunic looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mfer finish him?
